MK2 Escort GP.4 Rally car
Built from mainly brand new parts to clubman
Gp.4 spec. Had very little use since built .
(approx 20 stage miles)
Alloy arched , 5 linked , shell , round turrets
, large transmission tunnels, seamwelded , 3 piece bulkhead
stiffener ,weld in seat rails ,gussetted full SD cage , strut
brace, seat belt bar etc. Tinted poly carb windows , lightweight
bonnet , boot and bumpers. Really good solid clean and shell
, as clean underside as it is on top (painted).
2.0 Dry sump Pinto , 180 bhp Historic rally
spec engine! Twin 48 webers. Peter Jones stage 3 head , ported
& polished , stainless steel one piece big valves , bronze
valve guides , double valve springs , Piper 300 rally camshaft
and vernier wheel , all new core plugs , toughrided shot peened
internals , double doweled flywheel , competition bearings
and head gasket .
Titan Dry sump twin savenge system , Remote
oil filter , oil cooler etc 2.5" 3 piece competition
exhaust manifold .
Fully Floating Twin Taper Atlas axle 5.1 LSD
, Alloy hubs etc. Quaife 5 speed s/c c/r gear box , rosejointed
gear lever , single propshaft , paddle competition clutch
Bilstein front struts with Alloy rose jointed
top mounts , on car Adj rose jointed TCA, on car Rose jointed
adj compression struts, WCXM , Heavy duty quick rack , GP.4
Bilstein coil over rear shockers , 5 link axle location ,
4 Pot front brakes with X drilled vented discs , 2 pot rear
brake calipers with disc braked axle , Alloy virticle hyd
hand brake , aeroquip lines through out , dash adj. bias pedal
Shaped alloy fuel tank , twin facet fuel pumps
