MK2 Escort Clubman GP.4
Built and used as a clubman rally car ,taken
off the road 2 yrs ago and rebuilt , inc roll cage/body shell
up grades , New engine , fresh gear box , suspension , link
rods etc etc .
Alloy arched 6 linked shell , Watts linkage
, big tunnels front and back , exhaust tunnel , weld in cage
with X diagonals , door bars , seat belt bars , triangulated
, tall round turrets etc . Heated screen , smoked poly carb
windows , light weight bonnet , and just fully resprayed.
Engine , just been professionally built
,(not even run in!) 2.0 Litre Vaux XE 16v engine , Kent 1604
cams , vernier wheels , worked head , Omega pistons , Steel
rods , MBE ign , Twin 45's , compettition clutch , bell housing
conversion to Ford Quaife Dog box , rose jointed lever , single
propshaft , Six linked Atlas axle with 4.6 LSD, New Coil over
rear Bilsteins , new link rods , Bilstein front struts with
rose jointed top mounts , On car adj TCA's , Twin cam anti
roll bar and doube width kit , Quick rack , Adj bias pedal
box , 4 pot front calipers and vented discs , Disc braked
rear axle , Alloy hyd hand brake , Aeroquip through out ,
Shaped alloy fuel tank , twin fuel pumps and filter king ,
Alloy battery tray in boot , Gp.4 wheel studs , Minilite wheels
, Be spoke wiring loom & custom made dash clocks / tacho
etc . Sparco seats (out of date) and 6 point belts(in date)

Great little clubman rally car , on the
button but requires small amount of finishing off, all hard
work and expense done -owner given up !
