spec. Nova 1300cc GP.A rally car. Built from a genuine Nova
Sport and would conform to Historic Rallying rules and BTRDA
it has not been used for a few years it starts and runs
on the key , and goes very well.
free MK1 Nova shell , fully seamwelded and fitted with a
Pilbeam SD cage , with forward triangulation , lightweight
fibreglass bonnet and boot lid . original 1300 OHC engine
running on Twin 40 webers with the Irmsher inlet manifold
and Irmsher air box , 4 branch exh manifold and Janspeed
exhaust system , engine spec unknown but suspect it has
a rally camshaft and may be more !
- f10 Quaife 5 speed S/C C/R gear box with a Plate type
LSD judging by the way it pulls when driven hard , low ratio
CWP .Bilsetin suspension front and rear with uprated springs
, GTE brakes and x drilled discs , aeroquip lines throughout
The seats/belts/extinguishers are out of date
, tank guards etc etc. it has the original Nova Sport 6 dial
If not sold before the winter we are considering
putting the car through the workshop and rebuilding &
repainting to full Historic GP.A spec "Colin Mcrae"
type of car.
