Works supported Peugeot 205 GTI Group A
Built as a super lightweight tarmac car for the 1992 British Open Rally Championship for Jonny Milner, in which he won the championship against the mighty Vauxhall team beating Dave Metcalf/Mark higgins and many others along the way. Must be one of the very last 205’s which Peugeot supported in their rally programme. No doubt both Jonny and Des Odell were pleased with the extra effort they had put in making this little car so special.
Built to Group A regulations but ultra lightweight shell, minimal everything , lightweight wiring loom, VDO dash, fixtures and alloy fittings etc. Gp.A Engine, Close ratio ZF gearbox and ZF LSD , huge tarmac AP brakes, French neg camber hubs, Bilstein dampers, Carbon Kevlar PTS seats, Kevlar sump guard & tank guard, Peugeot Sport lamp pod etc. This car has just had a bare shell rebuild with photographic stage by stage documentation. The original hot hatch that everyone can relate to, and has either owned or driven one of these nimble little cars at some point in their life. Now regarded as a true 80’s classic !
