Built to historic rally regulations from a genuine Lotus Sunbeam donor car. Finished in factory colours with a works copy reg. “KKV444W” Alloy arched seam welded shell, raised transmission tunnel and ZF turret cover, multipoint roll cage, double chassis rails etc. Fitted (max. 75 miles ago) with a new works spec Phil Davison (Ravic) All steel 2.2 16v lotus dry sump engine, with last spec machined, big valve cylinder head, forged pistons, steel rods and steel crank, running on Twin 48’s with the works water rail kit fitted, stainless exhaust manifold, geared starter motor, works spec ZF direct top close ratio 5 speed gear box, Salisbury 4HA works type axle with Low cwp & plate LSD, Alloy AP racing brakes all round 4 pots on the front and 2 pots on the rear, Fitted with tarmac Bilstein dampers all round, tarmac springs, top mounts & drop link anti roll bars front and rear, and tarmac width wheels but also comes with the full gravel suspension kit, Bilstein dampers, springs, top mounts. Fuel tank/oil tank/pumps etc are neatly stored away in a rear compartment just like the original factory cars were, the car has been built with a lightweight wiring loom, fully aeroquip fuel, brake and oil lines, works type Rose jointed suspension arms/links, Heavy duty x-member and high ratio steering rack & heavy duty clamp, Alloy front hubs, alloy radiator, large sump guard and gear box shield, spare wheel ladder, plumbed in extinguisher, trip meter, Motordrive “Talbot Sport” Kevlar lightweight seats, full harness belts (seats & belts both in date) etc. Springalex deep dish steering wheel, Navigators door pocket and hyd. hand brake cover, 4 x PIAA lights and much more – beautiful condition throughout, looks iconic in the works colours with the KKV 444 plate. ring for further details.
