This car was built with a long term plan to fit a bigger engine, it has only competed in 6 since being built.
A very good rot free Alloy arched 6 linked shell (watts linkage), large gearbox tunnel , large diff and exhaust tunnel, 15″ rear tubs fitted , weld in SD cage with X diagonals and door bars, dash bar , forward and rear triangulation, and usual strengthening plates/ gussets etc. Very good rust free donor shell.
Engine, 1600cc Vaux 16v running on SBD Jenvy taper throttle bodies, unknown cams but do have vernier wheels, MBE , Dry sump system , ARP bolts , Steel rods ,Lightened steel flywheel , 7 1/4″ cintered race clutch , Tony Law up and over 4 into 1 exh manifold. 2 litre injectors , modified idlers , Its worth noting that both the throttle bodies and the dry sump pump etc will fit a 2.0 XE vaux engine as well.
Alloy bellhousing , Quaife 6 speed sequential gear box with dash board indicator, Large propshaft , F/Floating Atlas axle with 5.3 cwp & ZF LSD, Usual Alloy hubs , GP.4 studs , 2 piece shafts , AP Alloy 2 pot calipers etc.
Bilstein coil over dampers all round , Gartrac cross member , Gartrac cranked steering arms, Alloy 4 pot calipers and Bias pedal box , hyd hand brake , Currently fitted with adj electric Power steering , be spoke wiring loom , custom made dash panel , Alloy fuel and dry sump tanks , Aeroquip Fuel , brake and oil lines with correct fittings throughout. Seats & belts sadly now out of date for rallying even though barley used, extinguishers, Terratrip , Alloy radiator , Alloy sump guard , Quick release exhaust , Poly carb smoked windows , Fibre glass bonnet and boot lid , Revolution wheels etc. The list goes on , the owner has spent a small fortune but has barely used the car… needs small cosmetic tidy & service due to been standing, a very good buy for someone.
