An exact copy of the original works SD shell was carefully carried out, weld for weld by Prepfab.
(The original works shell stays with this car) then the shell was fitted with the lightweight panels and painted. Stan from Lucas competitions dept. made a new wiring loom to the exact spec and using the same original Lucas components. The car was then sent to XS racing where they meticulously put it together using all brand new parts of the highest quality. A fully rebuilt original all steel Twin cam engine was fitted, a brand new Getrag Dog box (not synchro box). A brand new fully floating Atlas axle, new cwp & LSD, shafts etc. All new AP racing brakes, all new hubs, all new Bilsteins, new trailing arms and wishbones, oil /fuel lines, new fuel tank,radiator, steering rack, sump guard, seats, belts, trip, exhaust etc. etc.. The list goes on…….Currently sits on original wide Magnesium Minilite tarmac wheels.
As mentioned earlier, the car comes with its original body shell, and Hugh spares package, including another 2 twin cam engines (in bits), AP brakes, suspension and lots of the original parts. Also another perfect condition donor road car.
