Historic Rally car .
Built by ex Talbot Motorsport engineer “Jim
Little” from Mike little preparations and MSA log booked
in 2011. Built to the same spec/build quality of the their
works rally cars in the 1980's. (remember Henry Toivonen ?)
Built to F.I.A historic rally regulations
from a genuine Lotus Sunbeam donor car. Alloy arched seam
welded shell, large tunnel, multipoint roll cage, double chassis
rails etc. Phil Davison (Ravic) dry sump 2.2 16v lotus rally
engine, with latest spec cylinder head, stainless exhaust
manifold, geared starter motor, 4HA works style axle with
4.9 plate LSD, ZF direct top close ratio gear box, AP racing
brakes all round, Bilstein dampers all round, fuel tank/oil
tank in rear compartment, lightweight wiring loom, fully aeroquipped,
Rose jointed suspension links, Heavy duty x-member and steering
rack, Alloy hubs, alloy radiator, large sump guard and gear
box shield, spare wheel ladder, plumbed in extinguisher, trip
meter, Kevlar lightweight seats, full harness belts (all in
date) etc. and much more - ring for further details. 10 rallies
since built -Never damaged.
Something different to an Escort
The closest you can get to a works Sunbeam
lotus but in a usable fresh condition with modern wiring etc.
Drives very well ....comes with all paperwork , Genuine Lotus
V5C, MSA log book and historic identity papers, MOT etc ...ready
to use !
