MK1 Lotus Cortina
Built to a high spec, very succesful and reliable
car. Only ever used on tarmac .
Very straight and solid shell (have tried
to show this in photos) seamwelded , strengthened , fitted
with SD multipoint roll cage . Fitted with Alloy bonnet ,
Alloy boot lid and Alloy doors. Lightweight windows finished
in traditional colours with Lotus wing badges.
Nick Stagg Lotus Twin cam all steel engine
, running on Twin 45 webers , forged pistons , steel crank
, steel rods , rally camshafts etc. hc and hp Oil pump , oil
cooler , comp exhaust.
Not used in anger since last rebuild. 170bhp

Alloy hyd bell housing , Competition clutch,
S/C C/R gear kit fitted into the 2000e box with all upgrade
mods . Strengthened axle casing with lightweight Alloy diff
nose , 5.1 cwp and plate LSD unit , Heavy duty halfshafts
fitted (very expensive).
Large Lotus brakes alround , dual circuit
bias pedal box , aeroquip lines through out car.
Bilstein front dampers , uprated tarmac springs
, modfield X memeber , High ratio steering box (very expensive)
Bilstein rear dampers and uprated springs , anti tramp bars.
header Rad , Lightweight Polly sump guard , Alloy fuel tank
with twin fuel pumps and pressure regulator , works style
lamp mounting bar , New Sparco seats , New 3"Harness's
, New Fire extinguishers , full 12 months MOT and Historic
papers just re dated/updated . Minilite wheels with spares.
car is a proven rally / class winner , Built using all the
best parts possible, maintained properly, and most importantly
has the correct "BA74" chassis number with 1966
Lotus Cortina V5C .
